The SSFBCG Tactical Army Guide is now available. This is a 54 page comprehensive guide to the first four armies. It contains a description of all 54 cards in the Basic Army Decks as well as the upcoming Reinforcement Packs for all four armies. Each Unit, Command Card, Spell Card and Army Ability Card is described in detail. There is a tactical overview of each Race and suggestions on how to use your Units, Command and Spell Cards. The four armies include, Orcs, Dwarves, Barbarian Horde and Undead.

Shattered Sword Fantasy Battle Card Game is a fantasy battle card game for two or more players. Shattered Sword uses cards to represent units that you battle with and you can actually carry your entire army right in your pocket! Players can choose their units for each game based upon the point system which is included, or any other manner the players choose. Players can play on any suitable card table or use our BattleZoneV vinyl terrain system which represents the battlefield where the opposing armies will fight. Each deck includes 24 Unit Cards (8 unique unit types), 12 Spell Cards, 16 Command Cards, 2 Player Aid/Army Info Cards, 4 Wizard/Leader Counter, Kill Marker Chit Sheets, Instructions.

Units are placed on the battlefield according to a deployment system based upon the Recon value of your units. A number of results are possible, and can affect the outcome of a battle. Once deployed, the players are ready for battle!

The game turn is made up of the Command Segment and the Player Turn Segment. In the Command Segment, players will determine Initiative and the number of Control Points, Command Cards and Spell Cards that each player will get that turn. Also, Leaders and Wizards are attached to units to help them during the battle. In the Player Turn Segment, players move, shoot and fight with their units using six sided dice. Command and Spell Cards, which can greatly affect the outcome of the battle, can be used anytime during this segment . Victory is determined when one side reaches its breaking point.
